Bee’s Business

Bee’s Business provides the perfect balance of sweet, sour and juicy refreshment. Local apples and honey will take this cocktail to another level which mirrors Caorunn’s foraging spirit.

Ingredients

  • 50ml Caorunn Gin
  • 20ml local pressed apple juice
  • 15ml local honey syrup*
  • 10ml lemon juice
  • 5ml apple cider vinegar

Glass – Rock

Ice – Cubes

Method

  1. Shake ingredients together with ice
  2. Double strain into a glass over ice
  3. Finish with red apple fan garnish

*Honey syrup

Add 1 part warm water to 1 part honey and stir

Pink Lady Spritz

Crisp, fresh and vibrant, the floral, citrusy taste allows the subtle juniper spice of Caorunn to shine.

Ingredients

  • 50ml Caorunn Gin
  • 25ml Pink Lady cordial* (or cloudy apple juice)
  • 20ml lime juice
  • Top with soda water

Glass – Wine

Ice – Cubes

Method

  1. Build and top with soda water
  2. Stir over ice
  3. Finish with rolled red apple peel with mint leaf garnish

*Pink Lady cordial

  1. Chop 4 apples, and simmer in a pan with 1 litre of water for 10 minutes
  2. Strain and combine 2 parts of the liquid to 1 part sugar, with the juice of 3 limes (this ingredient will keep for 1 week in the fridge)

Caorunn, Apple & Tonic

A classic highball that is extremely refreshing and easy to make at home. The addition of apple juice brings a sweeter, fruity side to the classic G&T which explores Caorunn’s crisp apple and citrus notes.

Ingredients

  • 50ml Caorunn Gin
  • 25ml pressed apple juice
  • Top with Mediterranean tonic water

Glass – Highball

Ice – Cubes

Method

  1. Build, top with Mediterranean tonic water and stir over ice.
  2. Garnish with red apple slices and a sprig of rosemary
