Featuring Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, also a label from Lismore Wines.

The stablilty and reliability of strategically-placed thatched huts sheltered the pioneer farmers from all the raging elements they had to endure while mustering sheep in the rugged New Zealand landscape.

The huts have largely stood the test of time, with many still standing sporadically in the hill country.

The Thatched Hut label reflects Lismore’s longevity, its experience in the industry and strong relationships.

Thatched Hut Sauvignon Blanc

A lifted nose showing aromas of gooseberry, grapefruit and passionfruit with refreshing underlying herbal notes. A pleasing mineral note leads to a long lingering finish.

Perfect for drinking immediately, this Sauvignon Blanc will be at its best with fresh, zingy Asian chicken, fish or noodle dishes.

Thatched Hut Pinot Noir

The bouquet of this Central Otago Pinot Noir is intensely aromatic and has characters of cherry, strawberry and raspberries with a hint of earthiness.

The palate is full and lively with typical soft, supple tannins and exotic flavours. The 2014 vintage has produced elegant, fruity Pinot Noir wines with great length and balance. Drink at room temperature on its own or with many Asian foods, or rich pasta dishes.
