Featuring Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, another label by Lismore Wines.

The famous flightless New Zealand native bird, the Kiwi, is the icon of New Zealand.

The Lismore Wines philosophy is that nothing is too difficult – all hurdles can be overcome. It believes in achieving the impossible and dares the Kiwi to find the means to ‘fly’.

Flying Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc

This classic Sauvignon Blanc’s colour is pale straw with green lights. Ripe tropical passionfruit, gooseberry and green capsicum aromas balance with crisp acidity and herbal notes to add complexity and depth to a long lingering finish.

A wine to be enjoyed during the next 12 to 18 months and it may develop further complexity with extended cellaring. An ideal match with roast poultry, seafood or to be enjoyed simply on its own as an aperitif.

Flying Kiwi Merlot

This deep crimson wine has ripe plum and berry fruit with hints of sweet spice and savoury notes.

A medium-bodied, smooth and approachable palate follows the aromas described above, with sweet fruit, supple tannins and moreish acidity.

Flying Kiwi Pinot Noir

This classic pinot noir is ruby red in colour with violet hues. Rich raspberry and redcurrant aromas combine with ripe plum, cloves and oak characters on the palate.

Soft tannins and balanced acidity combine to produce this elegant wine. A wine to be enjoyed now and that will develop with extended cellaring. An ideal match with duck, pork, wild game or New Zealand lamb.
